Increasing trends towards remote work have resulted in quick improvisation on the part of both employers and employees. While offering some advantages, the challenges of working from home need to be tackled by both sides for greater effectiveness.
Employers need to develop inclusive strategies to counter everything from potentially low employee engagement to increased cyber security risks. The basis for this lies partially in understanding the challenges employees face.
some employees take to WFH like ducks to water, others struggle to deal with the drastic and discomfiting change in the environment it represents. And when employees struggle, their productivity can suffer and the company’s processes can be affected.

ReplyDeleteSome common barriers in the work from home (WFH) environment include difficulty staying focused and motivated, lack of collaboration with other team members, feeling isolated and disconnected, difficulty maintaining healthy work-life balance, difficulty setting boundaries between work and home life, and reduced access to resources. Additionally, organization policies and lack of communication can also be hindrances to WFH success.
