Employee Motivation in working from Home as a HR Activity

Employee motivation

Employee motivation is a vital process of any successful organization. It’s the driving force that directs the employees for achieving their goals, while contributes to the organization’s overall success which develop the organizations cooperate profile.

Employee motivation mean the level of enthusiasm, energy, commitment, and creativity that an employee brings to their day-today role.

The origin of the word “motivation” comes from the Latin word “movere,” meaning “to move.” Motivation is inherently linked to behavior, and to achieve desired goals and results, this behavior must be harnessed and channeled effectively.

Motivation is a leading driver of success in the work tasks, while understanding how to cultivate and maintain a better organizational culture in achieving best performance.

Why is employee motivation important in the workplace?

Just Imagine an employee whose work motivation is particularly low. They're probably working at a slower pace, avoiding tasks, and spending time on their phones. But most of all, they’re unfocused and aren’t putting any energy into their work.

This isn’t only wasting your resources but could have a knock-on effect to other employees, potentially holding back the entire company from producing work to the highest standard or meeting important targets.

A motivated employee is enthusiastic, driven and takes pride in their work. They accomplish tasks quickly, take action and want to do a good job, both for themselves and for the company.

Whether your company is at its best, or on its way up, staff motivation is very important. The moment it drops, revenue and output could soon follow.
